Look Who's Talking!

Join me at the conference this November!

This November, I will be speaking at the Annual International Conference on ADHD (formerly the CHADD Conference) with one of my colleagues about fostering better relationships with your partner. It is the launching pad for an exciting new venture that a small cohort of mine is releasing this fall, built upon the revelations and practices we have built in the sphere of ADHD coaching. But more importantly, Jon Hassall (of Connect ADHD) and I are primed and ready to bring an action-oriented session that addresses the ups and downs of partnerships when communication is a challenge. Intention, emotion, and neuro-biology are all key components that impact the shared experience of life with a partner. If you’re coming to the conference this November, I hope you will pop in and play with us on Saturday morning!

Every year, I make a reach goal to do one thing that scares me intellectually. I tend to gravitate towards something that forces me to face a demon and conquer it. A few years ago, I published an article reviewing the efficacy of college coaching. Last year I signed on for certification to teach Sanity School Live. In August, I wrote a guest blog post for one of my favorite business blogs “What We’re Reading Now” by Allison Partners this summer. This conference speaking engagement is yet another of these goals, and I couldn’t be more excited to share that with my colleague and friend Jon Hassall.

The Annual International Conference on ADHD is the very first conference I attended on the subject of ADHD. It was the beginning of a journey that took my career path in an entirely different direction and introduced me to a community of some of the most welcoming and open individuals in my universe. If you are new to the world of ADHD, this conference can offer you education, fellowship, support, connection, and empathy. Parents, adults, couples, health professionals, educators, service providers and the like all under one roof for the sole purpose of making the world a better place for differently wired brains. You will hear from doctors, coaches, educators, therapists, and all sorts of professionals in the field. This year, we are adding more interactive programming, social interactions, and pop-up sessions for young adults.

Check your calendar. Join us November 7-10 in the City of Brotherly Love. If you register by 10pm EST tonight, you will also catch the early-bird rate before it’s gone!

Not sure you’re ready for a conference? Maybe that would be a good reach goal for you. And if you make the trip, let me know! I’d love to connect with my readers in person. You just might walk away with friendships, knowledge and the strategies to help you create a slice of life that is Better Together. I hope to see you there!
