My name is Kate Barrett. I am an ICF-certified and ADDCA-trained ADHD Coach, married for over 24 years to her husband and mother of 3 young men(two of whom are diagnosed with ADHD). Frustration and exasperation are commonplace in the ADHD world when there is no common language or understanding of intention vs. attention. Coaching can provide a supportive partnership between the coach and client to explore what is getting in the way of reaching or even setting your goal(s).

I specialize in helping students, parents, and entrepreneurs with ADHD uncover their strengths and embrace their learning styles.  Whether it is a struggle with finding the surface of your desk, a desire to help your student uncover their drive, or a struggle to complete your homework, we can work together to help move you toward your goal. I work with curious, creative, and often overwhelmed minds of all ages and backgrounds who are looking to explore what is holding them back.  With my support, clients embrace and uncover their strengths while changing their relationship with their world through a better understanding of the science behind the choices they make and the stories holding them captive.  Together we work towards understanding what has them stuck and how they can best move toward their personal, academic, or professional goals.
